Client Relations Officer
VATax Advisory & Co. is a professional tax, VAT and company law advisory firm based in Baridhara DOHS, Dhaka. Our clients rely on quick answers, clear updates and dependable follow-up. We are looking for a warm, well-organised Client Relations Officer to be the first voice our clients hear.
About the Role
You will handle first conversations with clients, arrange meetings with our consultants, follow up with government offices on work in progress, and keep every client informed until their work is done.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer first-contact client queries on tax, VAT and company matters, mainly over the phone, and direct them to the right consultant.
- Schedule and confirm client meetings with our consultants, and manage the meeting calendar.
- Communicate with the NBR, VAT and tax offices, RJSC and other authorities to follow up on the progress of client work.
- Track every open task until it is complete, and give clients timely, accurate updates.
- Respond to general queries about VATax Advisory & Co. and its services.
- Keep management informed of client needs, task status and next steps.
- Keep simple, up-to-date records of client calls, meetings and follow-ups.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (Business, Accounting, Finance or Law preferred).
- Undergraduates with relevant experience in client service, a call centre, front desk or an advisory firm are also encouraged to apply.
- Confident and courteous on the phone, with a clear, pleasant and professional voice.
- Friendly, patient and client-focused approach, with good listening skills.
- Good spoken and written Bangla and English.
- Organised, reliable and able to follow up without being reminded.
- Basic computer skills: MS Office, email and WhatsApp.
- 1–2 years of experience in client service is preferred; freshers with strong communication skills may also apply.
- Basic knowledge of tax, VAT or company matters is a plus, not a must. We will train you.
